You only have one life! Do you really want to spend your days trying to live up to his unrealistic expectations of you? You need to be enough, flaws and all! If he keeps expressing what a mistake you are then you need to believe that you can always do better. I know most of us fear being alone or feel that we will not find anyone better to love us, but a woman's strength runs deep. We can tackle obstacles that we never thought would be possible. You have a purpose to fulfill and that is not by being your abuser's mat to stomp on when he see's fit. Every woman has a gift God has given her specifically so that she can embark on the world. Your individuality is not going to shine if a man is constantly running you over. It will only shine when you rid yourself of the one person who keeps trying to hold you back. You must tell yourself, "This is not how MY story is going to end!"
